Behind the Mask

Discover how human and animal forms shaped the design of spectacular masks. Back in the workshop, create a mask using an assortment of 3D materials.

Architecture: Inside Out

Saturday at 15:00 for children age 8 –12 years

Under the dome, children discover and observe the complex geometric shapes of Jean Nouvel’s modern interpretation of the traditional dome. In the studio, children work together to create a large-scale model.

Follow the footprints in the Children’s Museum Exhibition and discover the meaning of animals and the power of the representations in art.
