Two-Days Art Teacher Training Program

Available for Schools Tuesday – Sunday on request
10am – 4pm

This training program is designed across two days. You will engage in interactive workshops, take part in observational drawing, and participate in an art workshop with an Emirati artist before planning your own art program and self-led visit inspired by the training content.

Day 1
With a Museum Educator you will explore the museum narrative and use object-based learning strategies to activate critical and creative thinking skills. We will explore the different elements of art by participating in a range of observational drawing activities and investigate together how to apply these newly acquired skills and knowledge into your teaching practice.

Day 2
Led by our Museum Educators and an Emirati artist, you will investigate Treasures of the UAE currently on display in the galleries, before participating in an artmaking, skill-based workshop inspired by artworks in the collection. To conclude the program, you will engage with your peers, exchange ideas, and plan your own art program and self-led visits inspired by the training content.

Price per Teacher: AED 750 (incl. two self-led visit coupons AED 125 each)
