Winter workshops for teens and adults
10 – 18 December
This season’s ARTLAB themed Art in Nature, allows you to engage with UAE-based artists in seven interactive workshops under the dome. Choose from a range of art making, from mural painting and papermaking, to mixed media and mould casting and be inspired by the museum’s distinct, natural surroundings both indoors and outdoors with a backdrop of the sea. The sessions are led by five UAE-based artists, including Dr. Najat Makki, a pioneering Emirati artist, who will lead the Collaborative Mural Painting and Mixed-Media Painting sessions.
Date:
Friday 10 December to Saturday 18 December (except Monday)
Time: 3 hour Workshops
- 10:30am to 1:30pm for the teens (13-17)
- 3:30pm to 6:30pm for adults (18+)
Places are limited per workshop.
Price:
- Under 18s: AED 100 (includes VAT)
- Adults 18+: AED 132 (includes reduced admission ticket + VAT)
- Museum Members: AED 80 (includes VAT)
Tickets include art materials and access to museum galleries.

Terms and Conditions
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the workshop starts, as your ticket is valid for only 15 minutes after the start time. We may need to reallocate your seat to another participant if you are late.
- We regret that there are no refunds or cancellations.
- We will issue you the ARTLAB Loyalty Card on the first workshop, and the fourth workshop is free. To redeem your free workshop, use the unique identification code on the voucher issued.
- Participants use their personal tablets and smartphones at their own risk.
- All visitors must be vaccinated and show a ‘Green’ status on the Alhosn app to enter.
- Social distancing (2m) is in place to ensure everyone’s safety.
- Attendees need to wear their masks within the museum premises at all times.
