For two nights only, the award-winning Sima Dance Company presented an original piece inspired by the exhibition, Impressionism: Pathways to Modernity. Created by acclaimed regional choreographer Alaa Krimed, the choreography, evocative of an Impressionist painting, explores how the Impressionists paved the way for the artistic revolutions that were to come.

The 50-minute performance of classical and contemporary dance was accompanied by a live quartet playing classical pieces by Ravel, and other composers.
