Dragon and Phoenix Masterclasses

18 +

This season’s masterclasses are inspired by our new exhibition, Dragon and Phoenix - Centuries of Exchange between Chinese and Islamic worlds.

Ceramics and Illustration Masterclass
Explore the history of ceramics and the exchanges between the Chinese and Islamic civilisations in a special tour conducted by our Museum Educators. Discover a new perspective on the artworks through hands-on activities, then work with ceramicist, Heba Maged, to create your own pottery. Later, join Amna Al Saleh and learn how to decorate your piece with illustrations. Glaze your ceramic ware and bring it to life.
