Join us in Dr Najat Makki’s masterclass, which takes inspiration from our temporary exhibition, Versailles & the World. Learn how to transform various objects with colours, decorative patterns, and textures.

After a 60-minute exhibition tour, you will be invited to discuss and analyse the colours and decorative elements of the artworks with other art lovers.

Influenced by your observations and Dr Najat Makki’s signature art style, you will express your skills in a two-hour workshop. Using various materials and mixed media such as painting, collage and decoupage, Dr Najat Makki will guide you on developing a personalised and imaginative approach to artmaking.

About the artist:

Dr Najat Makki is an established Emirati artist and one of the pioneers of the art scene in the UAE. Fascinated by the semantics of colour, she is known for creating abstract layered paintings and experimenting with unique colour compositions using fluorescent paints. This on-site masterclass is an excellent opportunity to learn from the best.
