To ensure her survival in the afterlife, Henuttawy, the daughter of Pharaoh Shoshenq, was buried in an exceptional set of sarcophagi. The inscriptions, gilded mask and rich, painted decorations all served to heighten the physical and symbolical protection of the princess.
