Overview: Create a contemporary scene for an artwork using smartphone
Themes: Collage and photography
Artworks: Young Emir Studying, Osman Hamdy Bey, Istanbul?, 1878, Oil on Canvas, ©Louvre Abu Dhabi/ APF
Age Range: 6-12 years old
Activity Timing: 45 minutes
Materials: Young Emir image template, Scissors, tape, straw or popsicle stick (optional), Smartphone to snap the scene!
Instructions:
1. Download the image of the Young Emir Studying
2. Cut out the figure
3. Use tape to stick the straw on the back of the cutout
4. Take the Young Emir on a journey inside your home to find a new setting
5. Add household items to create a new setting
6. Use a smartphone to snap the scene!
