CELEBRATING ART AND POETRY
RAMADAN WITH LOUVRE ABU DHABI

As part of Ramadan 2020, we hosted four prominent UAE poets to recite classical poetry from Arabic literature that link to a specific artwork from our collection. The chosen artworks and poems also reflect the messaging of Ramadan values of hope and resilience. Poets include Hassan Ali Alnajjar, Nujoom Alghanem, Ahmed Alasm and Shaikha Almutairi.
