Louvre Abu Dhabi presents four major special exhibitions each year which are created in collaboration with our respected French museum partners and feature works loaned from their permanent collections.
Inspired by Louvre Abu Dhabi’s universal approach to the history of humanity, these temporary exhibitions are curated in seasons and organised according to themes that are common to cultures and civilisations the world over.
While comparing and highlighting shared influences and ideas, they also represent opportunities to explore in detail specific themes that are touched upon in Louvre Abu Dhabi’s main galleries.
