Rooftop Rhythms - The Wellness Edition
Spoken word, poetry, live music
Wednesday, 17 November at 7pm
Gather under Louvre Abu Dhabi’s dome for Lates, featuring Rooftop Rhythms first in-person event since February 2020.
Artistic self-expression can help to improve mental health. On Wednesday, 17 November at 7pm, Abu Dhabi will come to life with emerging and established poets, musicians and singers for a one-of-a-kind evening focused on mental wellness. Rooftop Rhythms founder, Dorian Paul Rogers, will be the event’s emcee, and Jaysus Zain will provide soulful grooves as the DJ for the evening. Join us for a mindful experience that will open hearts, eyes, and minds.
Rooftop Rhythms is presented in partnership with The Arts Center at NYUAD with official support from The US Mission to the UAE.
This special event features a pre-selected lineup of performers. Rooftop Rhythms and The Arts Center at NYUAD are committed to providing a platform for locally-based artists to share their original creative work in front of a supportive community. In an effort to foster local talent, all performers will share original material. Note: Additional performance slots will not be available on the night.
